The most popular way would be to drive; our access road is located along the Mackenzie Highway in between Fort Providence and Fort Simpson - approximately 197 kms from Fort Providence and 127 kms from Fort Simpson.

You can also charter a plane; this is by far the most expensive. If this is your chosen method of travel, you can contact Simpson Air or Wolverine Air Ltd. For their current schedules and fares. Both airline companies operate out of Fort Simpson.

And since we are located right along the Mackenzie River, it is not uncommon for the more adventurous souls to travel by boat. Quite often river travelers will depart from the Great Slave Lake and make their way up the Mackenzie River. Some travelers destined for Fort Simpson, Wrigley and some even further north. Every summer, we welcome many visitors from other countries, local hunters and fisherman.
